Dear Lord Jesus, come into my heart. Forgive me of my sin. Wash me & cleanse me. Set me free. Jesus, thank You that You died for me. I believe that You are risen from the dead & that You’re coming back again for me. Fill me with your Holy Spirit. Give me passion for the lost, a hunger for the things of God & a holy boldness to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. Jesus taught His followers to lay hands on the sick, to cast out devils, to cleanse lepers, to set captives free, to speak in new tongues, and to baptize those who believe. He showed them how to do these things in faith, living and preaching the Gospel. He gave them authority, and made them practice while He was with them.
After Jesus rose from the dead, He told them what He wanted them to do after He went back to God in Heaven. He gave His authority, and commissioned them to make disciples of all nations, just as He had made them disciples. He told them to continue working just as He'd shown them! Only now, they would go beyond their own borders to every corner of the world.
Today, many Christians want to share the Gospel, but don't understand the instructions Jesus gave. Many believers
aren't aware how do to the things Jesus taught His disciples to do, or that we can do those things too.
